Ridgewood Social Co. was born from my passion for gathering with loved ones and the joy that is created when hosting, styling, and sharing great food with others. My inspiration for creating Ridgewood Social Co. came from the time I spent working abroad in Bassano del Grappa, a region of Veneto in Northern Italy. The local shops along the quant, authentic Roman streets of Bassano del Grappa represented a throwback in time, passed down from generation to generation. Fresh cured meats and cheeses, bread, pastas, and wines were presented in a plentiful and inviting way. Recalling countless days as I passed by these shops, the brilliant sun beaming down on locals that would frequent these culture rich shops, sipping their prosecco and grazing away with no end in sight. As if time stood still, they would often remain hours later where they began their day, content in their chairs without concern for where they needed to be next.
